Naim i supply or alternatives to ipod docking
I am considering using my ipod as my source for an office headphone rig, and will want to have docking station/ power supply for the ipod. The Naim i-supply is designed for this, but I don't know if there is something better. Any experience out there?- newmanoc

Are any headphone amps built to be used with a separate preamp?
I don't know if I'll get any takers on this, but it never hurts to ask. I am about to upgrade my preamp to a Linn Kairn from a Kolektor. I am considering having a PIMETA built for me and want to get input on the amount of buffers to use. Headsave's Ultra II comes with 6 buffers, but Norm offers to add more at a cost of $5 each.
