I know this is jumping the gun a little, but is there any indication of how the Headamp CFA3 will perform against the GS-X Mini? My A90D just died and will take up to 3 months for repair so I'm exploring options to upgrade.

Remember that B&O is a lifestyle brand. Their TVs are essentially rebranded TVs made by other companies. It's what they do (Their headphones are their own though). They're historically expensive. Just because something is expensive, it doesn't always mean that it is good.

I recently listened to the H9 and wasn't too impressed by them. Thought my P7 Wireless were vastly better. I'd expect the PX7 to be better than the H9. That being said, what sounds bad to me might sound good to you.

These will have a lot of work to do to replace my trusty P7 Wireless. I've been through all the high end bluetooth headphones and nothing has made me give up the P7W yet.

As the NFB-1.38 and the NFB-1AMP are separate boxes you can use different interconnects between them. Different cables give different sounds. I remember reading somewhere that splitting out the DAC and AMP in to separate boxes would be beneficial as well for interference - not sure how true this...
