I just picked up a new pair of these and wow they sound so much more normal and neutral compared to the Triple.Fi 10. The clarity and nearer to neutral sound is making me miss my now broken [Banned Company] 4A made by Wizard (full circle) back in the day.

Etymotics uses both ACS & Microsonics for their Custom Fit program. Mine were made by ACS and they're pretty good.

The mic & remote are equally important. The jail breaking solution might work for some, but it's not for me. I think I am better off just sticking with Universal IEMs that come with a 3-button remote + mic until the CIEM market catches with up the needs of their customers.
