Zen Nano?
So I was shopping today and saw a Creative Zen Nano plus and did not recognize the name at all, but it was 1GB and it was 150 bucks and i was in the market for a 1GB flash player, so I went home and checked here and DAPreview and google, and found almost nothing about it. I have since checked...- bubbers214

Pictures of your Portable Rig
Hey Thaddy, you can find those banana holders at your local wally world. I picked mine up for a measly 4.44. Just look in the kitchen accessory section (should save you the hours of time i spent wandering aimlessly looking for them at my local wally world) Quote: Originally Posted by...- bubbers214

A900 + AV-710 owners
I was having the same problem with my A500's, I had volumes all the way up in windows, foobar and through the drivers and it was barely loud enough for me. But i got a Xin Supermini from a friend of mine for 30 bucks and its like night and day. My volume is at about 1/3 on my amp and its...- bubbers214

Looking at the HD570 sens (sorry)
im not quite sure how much they are canadian, but the Audio Technica A500's are a steal at 100 dollars at audiocubes.com. I have heard both the 570's and i own the the A500's and the trounce them in every single way. I would hardily consider not getting the 570's and getting something like the...- bubbers214

Closed headphone recommendations needed!!
I second the recommendation for the A900's, I have the 500's but have read that the 900's are better in every single way. Plus might as well get the 900's so you don't have to wonder what you are missing from the 900's (like i am at the moment, wish i would have sprung for the 900's in the first...- bubbers214

How do you watch DVD's with Headphones?
Wasn't sure where to put this but here goes. I was just curious about those who use headphones to watch DVD's on their computer. I'm wondering what, if any, virtual surround do you use? PowerDVD offers Dolby Headphone and TruXTsurround, and my Nvidia offeres cinesurround. I currently use TruXT...- bubbers214

Sounds cards...
I own a Chaintech, and listened to my buddies Revo with my same setup and could honestly not tell a difference, I would put them very close together as far as SQ goes. So if your looking to save some bones, go with the Chaintech.- bubbers214

To the PC source people! What do you listen to?
I use EAC to rip to FLAC and to Lame APS (for my portable, i simply cannot decide what music to get rid of, in order to change my portable to lossless) all one step process through MAREO a thirdparty plugin for EAC to rip to two or more formats in one sitting. I love it.- bubbers214

Chaintech AV-710 Review
hey, im curious where you got the asio4all.zip file, i can only find the exe which doesn't allow me to dump the dll file. EDIT: N/M i got ASIO4All working, however I can't get it to work at 44.1 or at 96khz, for some reason it will only work at 48khz. I have no idea why.- bubbers214

Would this setup go together?
I have yet to use any grados, but my Audio Technica's are great for rock, at least IMO. And they are extremely comfy. So if its comfort and rock music you want, i would try those. If you find you don't like them, they will easily sell for 5 or 10 dollars less than you paid for them in the FS/FT...- bubbers214

Would this setup go together?
what about the ATH-A900's?? They are about 200, don't require an amp and im using its little brother, the A500's for gaming and i love them. I listened to my friends Senn 500's and i didn't like them at all, they had a lot of bass, way too much bass IMO.- bubbers214
