A friend of mine is thinking out getting 2 sets of av40s for front and back speakers, but how would he get a sub abd center speaker for proper 5.1? Can you simply split the channel sub/center channel?

I mainly listen to rock music, and I've been finding my hd 280s a bit bland. I've been looking at the Grado sr60 and the Sr80. Does the SR60 have better detail and Bass then my 280s? I can spend about 100$ CAD.

well my etymotic er6is seem to have a damaged right nozzle, the filter died in 2 weeks and the flange is held in very weakly, and all etymotic wants me to do is buy more filters.
