On the comply website, the tips that are offered that are compatible with the W2s are listed as being available in small/medium/large. Now, on the Westone website, the available comply tips are sold as standard/short/slim. Are the Westone comply tips specific to Westone? I like the...- Bob

ABX Reliability
Quote: This is a very misguided conclusion. I believe that you have unknowingly provided a test case that actually supports this type of testing. These types of tests try to determine whether or not one can detect/perceive a difference, not whether or not there is a measurable difference.- Bob

Machina Dynamica
Today I was perusing Audiogon and came across the Machina Dynamica ad for the "Teleportation Tweak". The ad was a great read and did make me chuckle. After I finished laughing, I started to wonder who actually ran Machina Dynamica. Does anyone out there have any real info on this...- Bob

Where to buy Sony MDR-CD3000?
Hello, Could you guys please recommend a reputable, online store that sells Sony MDR-CD3000s? Valid warranty, return policy, fair shipping costs, etc. are a concern, not just low price. Any suggestions you guys have would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.- Bob

What audio racks do you guys recommend?
I am curious to hear about what you guys stack your equipment on? Do most people just set their stuff on the floor/desk and forget about it? Please let me know what y'all use because I am in the market for an audio rack for an upcoming headphone system. Thanks! Bob- Bob

Implications of Perfect Pitch...
I would attribute your perfect pitch to learning an instrument at a young age. It has been documented that one has the ability to "learn" perfect pitch when they are young and this ability declines rapidly as one gets older. I have heard numerous examples of musicians sitting down with their...- Bob

Sub recommendations
If you decide not to go the DIY route I would suggest the adire audio Rava sub as well. It is a great sub for a system that is primarily used for music ... but ... if you are looking for wall shakin' bass for home theater this might not be the best choice. If you are considering going the DIY...- Bob

which AMP would you buy for $1,000?
If you want to go the tube route I highly recommend the MicroZOTL. I feel that it handily beats the Earmax Pro, Melos SHA-1 and the RKV. I have had the chance to listen to all of them and I strongly recommend the MicroZOTL.- Bob
