After a while, I've noticed the sudden white noise might be something to do with the volume? because when I try to play a movie through VLC and the white noise comes in, I can lower the volume to 5% and it is pretty loud coming from my headphones.

But it felt like they boost the frequency because the time when I paired it with my phone, almost every song I listen to sound a bit bassy than I usually know

Since the 1000xm3 is more for a bass head, I wonder does eq make it more neutral? And should I get one even though my listening experience of it is too bassy for me even though I like my pair of se215?

What would be the best way to upgrade for me? My current setup is k7xx with e10k. Was reading about e10k upgrades and some other people on this forum suggested getting a tube amp? What else could I do? Assuming I'm planning on spending around $200

What carrier did you guys got your s8? They are still disabling the fm radio? Wow. Glad I got mine from somewhere else, unlocked, dual sim and has fm radio. Though when I plugin my se215, it doesn't seem have the power to drive it...

  Ahh, right now, I'm using my K7xx on my desktop with the onboard sound from the Asus motherboard. Besides that I only got my phone (G4) and the Fiio X1. I'm looking to maybe get a Oppo HA-2 or the Fiio E18 since I got some extra money being "forced" to work over thanksgiving weekend. :p

  I've tried the X3K before. It was a pleasure to use it, but I would rather have a dac that dedicated to be a home use dac. if I remember correctly, X3K wouldn't charge in dac mode?       :o I'll look into that!

  whenever I see this types of headbands, it worries me...my experience with the m50x and ProDJ100 is just horrible comfort. Maybe because I have a pointy skull. I tried putting a towel under and it does help wearing them a bit longer, but can't really beat the comfort that akg or AD...
