I don't think you can see the gold colour with this case? The case seems to wrap the whole body (except a tiny gap on top/bottom for usb and jacks)

If you care more on SQ, get desktop dac. Even bluetooth dongle Qudelix 5k sounds better. Utws5 is for convenience. I hate to use 5k because iem cable entangles with my facemask
