Philips Fidelio X2?!
I was pretty excited to get these, and while they sounded good, I was not impressed by the variety of QC issues that have been presented in this thread. IMO, even if you aren't necessarily facing any of these problems, it says a lot about the type of support you can expect from...- shredder47

Well it sounds like Amazon is just a little weird, but it's good to hear it's across the board and not just me. Sounds like I can just go back to enjoying my awesome new toy :)- shredder47

Westone 4 Impressions and Reviews Thread
No yeah everything was legit...shrink wrap on box, two pieces of Westone tape I had to cut through, etc. Just confused as to why it didn't have the tips that were pictured online. I guess just chalk it up to bad luck?- shredder47

Westone 4 Impressions and Reviews Thread
Let me rephrase my question -- I definitely purchased them brand new, directly shipped and sold from Amazon. However, there were no flange tips in the box when I received it. Is this a case of them changing the included accessories, a packaging mishap, or is it possible I somehow received a...- shredder47

So even though it looks like I might have been better off waiting....my W4Rs came in from Amazon today...should I be worried about a used pair if there were no flange tips in the package? Also, Amazon isn't listed as an authorized dealer on their website, but I imagine purchasing from Amazon...- shredder47

Quote: Well I go to a major university, so there is an audiologist located pretty conveniently...and I imagine they're a pretty decent one to be located at my school. So hopefully my experience would be ok there...- shredder47

So I posted a while ago...I'm coming from a Klipsch S4 and a UE Triple.Fi 10 I picked up from Amazon's gold box deal a few years back. I'm moving on from the Triple.Fis because I'm tired of them not being comfortable. I tried some V-Moda M-80s, and I liked the sound, but I didn't find...- shredder47

Replacement for TripleFi10
I'm in the same boat...I got my TF10s from one of the Amazon sales, so I don't feel super upset replacing them.... I tried V-Moda M-80s but I didn't find them terribly comfortable, so I just ordered some Etymotic HF5's.....A little cheaper, but hopefully somewhat comparable. I never really...- shredder47

V-MODA Crossfade M-80 Reviews
So I bought a pair of M-80's from Amazon, and I just don't find them that comfortable. My Amazon return period is almost up, but I was interested in holding onto them for a bit longer, to see if they broke in anymore. I contacted V-Moda and they said the 60 day test drive was only valid on...- shredder47

So I'm looking to move to a new pair, and my options are pretty wide open: History: Klipsch Image S4 -- I liked the way these sound, although I recognize they're certainly not the most neutral, but they were fun to listen to. A few months after I got those, I moved on to UE...- shredder47
