Nexus 5x and 6p sound quality
I'm going to disagree with you. I wouldn't recommend it for an audiophile searching for top quality, but over all it isn't bad. I've found it has a fairly balanced and detailed sound but has very low volume through its HP out. Last night I paired it with a cmoy amp and my JH10X3's and it was...- Fizz

1964 Ears
If you're looking for budget builds then BTG Audio and Headphone Lounge have some good options although they use memory wire. You can also get a Beat Audio Sapphire from custom-iem.com for about $99usd and it's my preferred cable since it uses overmoulding as opposed to memory wire. If...- Fizz

1964 Ears
Quote: Between the stock cable and 2 aftermarket cables I've got, the differences I've noticed are almost entirely in the ergonomics and comfort of the cables themselves. My Beat Audio Sapphire Pro has been my favourite, but my Headphone lounge cable seems a little more sturdy. I...- Fizz

1964 Ears
Quote: JH and UM use the same connectors, and 1964 ears is the same specification as those. UM is the only one out of those that uses a different spacing between pins if I remember correctly. Now if you've got recessed sockets and it's a cable from someone like chris_himself of headphone...- Fizz

Quote: Recessed sockets will apply a fair amount of resistance on the cable plug as you're attempting to remove it, however you should still be able to remove them by hand. You should be sure to apply your force on the connection, and not the cable.- Fizz

NEW Sony Walkman Z Series mini review!!!

Reply to review by 'fizz' on item 'Sennheiser MOMENTUM'
As much as input is always appreciated about different types of gear, it might be better to review things that you've spent an extended period of time using. A few minutes or even a few hours isn't enough time to get a proper grasp as to what you're hearing.- Fizz

NEW Sony Walkman Z Series mini review!!!
There is also a slight possibility they'll be merging their flagship Android Walkman lines with their new Xperia smartphones, but time will tell. Personally I prefer having a dedicated DAP but if say the Xperia Z included the same amp and SQ I would be willing to make the jump.- Fizz
