Bassy IEM's with detachable cable for ~ £100
IE80 is something that I feel I can only drool over. While I could probably save up a bit and get them, I would probably fear for their safety in being brought outside the house at that pricepoint so I guess it's my fault for being overly keen with my budget. On the other hand, I had never seen...- Wizzard

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Right, the cable on my Shure SE215's died and instead of getting another stock cable, I plucked for the FiiO RC-SE1. Unfortunately due to it's size, it didn't pair well with my iPhone and kept popping out all to often. Despite having very limited soldering knowledge, I decided to change the jack...- Wizzard

Maximum bass for <£30
Quote: Thanks a lot, man. This has definitely made me more keen on getting the JVC's as I was never entirely sure about the Ultraphiles but I might give them a try anyway (they're cheap after all). I'll report back once I've made up my mind and I've gotten some IEM. BTW...- Wizzard

Xears Thread (formerly TD III)
I'm in a bit of need of advice. Basically, I'm looking for as bassy-as-possible IEM with good comfort. More details in this thread - http://www.head-fi.org/t/581746/maximum-bass-for-30#post_7925493. Apologies for the hijack :D- Wizzard

Maximum bass for <£30
Now, the title is slightly misleading but throughout my relatively brief audiophilic experience, I've realised that for vast majority of Head-Fi residents, the sense of bass is clearly much stronger than me (in other words, what they call bassy is not, in my opinion) and hence the title...- Wizzard

Gaming Headphones
Goldring DR150's have become a contender (I used to own them but can't remember whether they were good or bad :D). I only found out about the Superlux recently, are you certain that they have the bass that I might want? I read somewhere that they quite simply have no bass but I shall...- Wizzard

Gaming Headphones
Greetings y'all. I've seen plenty of "gaming headphone/headset" threads but there is a problem. Most of these threads have been made by American users but I'm British and the headphones usually suggested (AD700 & HD 555) are ridiculously overpriced in UK so I'm looking for a cheaper...- Wizzard
