Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone

That's my preferred way of listening to my music also. Abyss wouldn't work in this position, as the seal must be perfect and I can't see how you would be able to get such a perfect fit with these headphones while lying in bed. So here come the D8000 pro, for me the perfect headphones.

What headphones have extraordinary sub-bass performance?

Thank you all for your responses. I was not even aware that something like the Lawton chambers do exist. These chambers seem to be a really interesting option for the Fostex. If I ever have the chance of buying the Fostex TH900 mk2 on the used market, I will not hesitate to give them a try.

What headphones have extraordinary sub-bass performance?

I am not a bass-head per se, but I would like to experience really extraordinary sub-bass performance. The only headphone which immediately comes to mind are the Abyss 1266 TC, but they won't work for me. So aside from above headphones, which other cans in the top league would you recommend...

So the Bakoon amp 13r should fit nicely with these headphones, as the Bakoon according to the manufacturer amplifies in the current domain.

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Thank you so much again for your efforts to help me solve my problem. I double checked and I own the hi-res Studio Qobuz version. If I play an album just on the Qobuz app on my cell phone or on UAPP not hooked up to my USB DAC, all the tracks are being played. But as soon as I connect my cell...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

I don't think that in my case it has to do with signal strength. Once a track starts playing, it plays to the end. But it's only playing three tracks and then stops.

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Than you for trying to solve my problem. It happens with every album. I will play around with more settings, but I hope that Davy will look into this problem eventually.

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

I am still trying to find out why I am only able to play 3 tracks via Qobuz. After 3 tracks playback stops and I have to click the fourth track to start playback again. It will play 3 more tracks and then stop again, until I manually start playback again. And this cycle repeats until the record...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

I haven't used UAPP for a while, and no settings were changed. Suddenly I have following problem: Plaxback stops exactly after three tracks. I manually need to click the fourth track and playback will resume again, but only another three tracks and then it will stop again. It will continue in...

Niimbus Ultimate Series US4/US4+/US5/US5 Pro Headphone Amps - by Lake People

As soon as Niimbus US4 amps show up in shops again, I will purchase one. One question though: Strictly for use with the same headphone, is it worthwhile to spend more money on the 4+ version?

    T+A Solitaire P planar magnetostatic

Thanks for coming so quickly. I own the CMA 12, but alas not the master version. So I was thinking to upgrade. The Bakoon amp 13r, the Niimbus US4+ or the HA200 are the amps which interest me the most. The HA200 would have the advantage of coming with a DAC, whereas the other two amps need a...

You need to test the subbass qualities yourself, as I have the slight inclination that musicalhead had to find some difference in sound doesn't he, as he could not very well have written that both headphones more or less sound the same. Because should both headphones sound the same, then why...

    T+A Solitaire P planar magnetostatic

Two put it in one sentence what I understood from reading the review is that the new P-SE is only marginally different from the P. The P has a tiny bit more of the very deep bass region and the choice of materials used to construct the P is a bit "choicier" than with the P-SE. So if you can read...

I saw in your signature that you also own the T&A H200. Do you use this amp for your D8000 Pro also and which other amps have you tried for your D8000 Pro/Solitaire P headphones, before settling on the T&A HA200 amp? I took the liberty to ask you about your amp experience, since you seem to come...

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone

I can second most of what you say about the two headphones. Especially the D8000 Pro being one of the best all around headphones there are. But regarding the bass of the Solitaire P I have to say that, although I listen a lot to bass heavy music like Dubstep, I found at times the powerful bass...

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone

I have listened to more songs with strong sub-bass and it seems if I listen extremely concentrated that there is a faint crackling sound in the right headphone cup, which seems not to belong to the music. I need to watch it more as the crackle I believe I hear is really very faint. Right now...

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone

I could cleary hear the rattle in your example file but not with my Final D8k Pros. I even equed a 4dB raise from 10Hz to 85Hz but both of the songs you mentioned play fine, even when turning up the volume. You clearly must have a defective unit. I hope very much that Final will sort things out.
