No Sound Coming Out of ATH-M50s?

Quote: Nope, no visible damage at all.     Quote: Unfortunately I live in a very small town and, for everyone I know, I'm that guy that they come to fix electronics.

No Sound Coming Out of ATH-M50s?

Hello, I came home today and notice that no sound was being emitted from my ATH-M50s when they were plugged in and the volume was on. At first I thought it may be my laptop's fault, but I got the same result from my desktop and my portable audio device. Any idea of what could have happened...

    My first comfortable headphones

I would recommend the ATH-M50s, I have them on my head right now and they have very good isolation, and I really like their sound signature (I also listen to electronic)

Nope. The Skullcandy Aviators are junk after all.

I'm also listening to my M50 as I'm typing this. I would recommend these to anyone, they are honestly the best headphones I have ever head (well I haven't heard that many high-end headphones...) but I can confirm that they are a little bassy. I'm pretty sure you can EQ them though. If you want...

Quote: I saw the M9's, but being at around twice as much as the Marshmallows they aren't as "disposable" to me.

    JVC Marshmallows vs. Skullcandy FMJs?

Okay, so I recently ordered a pair of JVC Marshmallows (http://tinyurl.com/42v8xb6) and my friend and I got into a debate; are the Marshmallows or the FMJs (http://tinyurl.com/3jlq7uk) better for the price? I would also like to know which are a better iem overall.

    JVC HA-FX35-B Marshmallows vs iBuds?

Hey guys, this thread might not sound very sophisticated, but I would like a question answered; are the JVC HA-FX35-B Marshmallows (http://tinyurl.com/42a9qhq) better than the iBuds? I have a pair of ATH-M50S, but I'm not exactly comfortable wearing them to school, so I decided to get a pair of...

    Should I return my HD555s?

Quote: I just did the foam mod and there's a HUGE improvement in the bass. It is way "fuller" and the music has more of a body. After I burn them in I'll make my final decision.

    Should I return my HD555s?

Quote: Would you recommend any Grado headphones? And do you recommend to do the foam mod before or after the burn-in?

    Should I return my HD555s?

Quote:   I'm not a bass head, I just want to hear bass in my music. I rarely hear any bass-guitar in my music, and the bass that I do hear isn't very clear. I've read that this will be corrected with the burn in. (they already sound better after 6 hours)   Quote: I...

    Should I return my HD555s?

I'm using a MacBook Pro with Lossless FLAC files. The output it put to a Fast Track II Pre-Amp (by usb) and then given to my HD555's (6.5 jack of course). It just feels like there's no bass AT ALL

    Should I return my HD555s?

Well I bought a pair of HD555's from Amazon on Tuesday and they finally arrived today. I've been listening to them and plan to burn them in with pink noise during the nights for the next few weeks. I would say sound quality is OKAY as of now. Should I let them burn in? Or should I exchange them...
