    Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview

@Currawong: Awesome review! although my wallet may not thank you so much one day :D. I noticed you didn't say anything about power conditioner. do you use one? because once I hooked a plixir in my system the depth it added to the music was astonishing and there was no going back to listening...

    Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview

strange, I found the opposite and I was quite a bit disappointed with TT2 in this regard because I was counting on using it as a DAC & amp and in the end I am only using it as a DAC and it is excellent. Audeze said LCD5 should be easier to drive, but we will have to see.

    Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview

yeah, me too. I don't care about bass, mids etc. I only care if I get more emotion. If the gear can do that, than in my book that's perfect.

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

My experiences do agree. At first it doesn't seem like the sound is much improved. But when, after a couple of songs you try to go back to listening without m-scaler, it is like the music is somehow dry, although prior to M-scaler you were not aware this might be the case. Mind you, I've only...

    T-Amp and Speakers

That's what I figured. I will buy an adapter because that that comes with super t-amp cannot be physically plugged into 220v.

Anyone tried the "new & improved" Super t-amp ?

They could have put a bass and a treble knob. I read it's the same t-amp with a power source and some connectors.

    Does emu 0404 resample?

I bought an emu 0404 a few days ago and i like it very much, it sounds great. But i have a problem. Does it resample? I can see only a quartz oscilator on the PCB. Why? Shouldn't have been 2? When i change the sample rate in patchmix from 48 to 44 khz it still remains set to 48 khz. Strange.

Is it worth an EMu 0404 or a second-hand CDP?

    Any other opinion?

Is it worth an EMu 0404 or a second-hand CDP?

I have a big problem. I am not satisfied with my a2. I have two options: I can sell it and buy an emu 0404 (i don't know anyone having this card so i'll buy it based only on what i read), or buy a second hand cd player, costing about as much as the emu. The guy i know has denon, marantz...

    Questions about EMU 0404
