    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

I haven't gotten that far yet, but these certainly have a lot more slam and dynamics than the Monoprice M1570's. Of course the M1570's are a lot cheaper. :relaxed: I will also mention that I have not noticed any sibilance. Still pretty impressed with the sound with my iFi.

Monolith M1570 Over Ear Open Back Balanced Planar Headphones

Certainly "softer". My testing list is 17 songs and about 1 and 1/4 hrs. long. I am going back and fourth. When the HE6se V2's are on my head, I am absolutely certain that they are the superior headphone by no small measure. Then I put the M1570's on and everything feels and sounds good. Not as...

    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

Hopefully you can read the dials. I really need to run a fine tip marker through those grooves. I believe the new Lokius has six dials.

s Did you tell them that it was for the M1570's? That one has to be ordered through the custom page. Mine works perfectly. Also, most of their cables are made for their connectors, which are a separate piece. I bought one connector for each amp and then a different cable type for each headphone.

Their website claims they are protein leather/lambskin leather. Feels like vinyl to me, but I am not a leather connoisseur.

Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...

I revamped my listening station today. I removed one amp, that I am selling, and put two splitters/switchers back in. I think I am pretty set going forward, except maybe changing the Loki to a Lokius.

    Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)

I use a Hart Audio Cable only because I have all my amps and most of my headphones wired with them for ease of access. I don't notice any sound difference with them.

    Is it ever enough?

Partially. I have no urge to upgrade my DAC. I also feel spoiled for choice in my amp selection. However, in my case at least, there is no such thing as end game when it comes to headphones. I am currently at 11 sets of headphones (sold # 12 on Friday). I want to sell at least four more sets...

I find the pleathers bassier and a better fit. I tried the furries for a full day and was not impressed. They will never be going back on. I am actually anxious to get these back on next week. :L3000:

A fair bit of that is likely brain burn-in too. They are a nice headphone with a bass bias. I used these as my mobile headphones for three years. Ran just great off of a phone (LG V30).

Massdrop x Focal Elex Review & Measurements

I love my Elex's with my Liquid Platinum. My current DAC is a Bifrost2, but I was quite happy with my SMSL SU-8. I have a couple of amps that cost considerably more, but I love that pairing. Same with the Senn HD660's.

    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

O I really want to A-B them. And the M1570's too. Fun days ahead. After 8 hours today I am SO impressed with these!

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

For the last few days I have been playing with my new HE6se V2's and today I paired them with my iFi Pro iCAN. WOW!

    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

It has good, solid bass, but I don't think a basshead would be happy with it.

    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

Not to me. And I have X-bass maxed out on my amp. Of course my measure of bassy is the Cascades. The bass is present and accounted for, but it is nowhere near the Cascades. So, with that as my measuring stick...

    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

Since today is my birthday, I decided to jump ahead and plug these into the iFi Pro iCAN. Wow, these are impressive headphones. While they were good with the other amps, these really shine with the iFi. Very big/full sound and a pretty wide stage, IMO. The bass is present, but not overpowering...

Monolith M1570 Over Ear Open Back Balanced Planar Headphones

Up here in Canada I bought them on Amazon.ca. I got them for $529.00Cdn., which is pretty close to the $399.00US price. And shipping only took a few days.

They have the one year factory warranty. I think HiFiman has a deal with Adorama as the only dealer for this line. So either Adorama sends a ton of models back or HiFiman uses the open box sale as a loophole to sell them.

Focal Elex's all day. I Love these things.

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

I think mine has changed for the better, but that is probably just me getting used to it. I used to find it a little too "boomy", almost cartoonishly so. But I still enjoyed it. :L3000: Now it is a headphone I can wear day after day after day...

I would describe the Sundara's as smooth. A nice smooth sound. You should notice an uptick in sound quality with the M1570's.

Congrats on your purchase! Hopefully you are as happy as we are. Because everyone hears differently, I will be curious to hear your feedback after a few weeks. And it really does take a few weeks to get a strong feeling about new headphones. I LOVE every new headphone when I get them! And...

Monolith M1570 Over Ear Open Back Balanced Planar Headphones

I would have to disagree on the M570's. I thought they were horrible and veiled/muffled. Going from them to the Sundara's would be night and day. Going from the Sundara's to the M1570's will be an upgrade, but not nearly to that scale. :relaxed:

ifI iCan Pro - Impressions & Discussion

I am looking at the HiFiman HE6se V2. At 50 Ohms, I figure it could be anywhere from 4 to 6 watts, but of course I am just guessing.
