    For MMCX connectors this is not great. Need to be extra careful or you'd yank the MMCX connector out while swapping cables (for the non-screw shells) or if your buds gets swiveled while the cable is attached it could break the solder connection of the jack inside the shell.

    If this is your first build I'd recommend getting the pre-soldered mmcx connector. The size of the connector is less important as it will only affect the looks mainly. It's not easy to get a solid solder done on the mmcx connector.
