    SMSL D400EX & D400ES - Impressions Thread

One quick question for the D400ex users out there - are there any recent firmware updates? I'm simply curious since the last one is from last year's March or April (so more than a year ago). Is this the usual SMSL deal, regarding firmware updates? One and done?

    Technics Premium Stereo Earphones EAH-TZ700

Could you tell me if the difference in bass is noticeable? Between the IE900 and the TZ700. I own the former and i am a bit interested in the latter. Thank you!

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

Nevermind, i just got home and once again, swapped the channels so i got R channel into left earbud and the distortion / rattling was off the charts. The sound that comes in at that particular moment is way more present in the right channel (in the normal configuration, R to R and L to L, there...

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

Triple-checked and even switched the L/R connectors God, no. As i wrote in the OP, i listen to locally stored music. Most are ALACs (using an iPhone) but even those that are mp3s/aac are of the best quality. The same file has been played on my headphones (HD800S/820 and HeKse) and not a hint of...

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

Hello everybody, Recently, i've been having some issues with my IE900 and i'm asking for your help in determining if this is really an issue or if it's normal behavior. The left ear-bud has some very noticeable distotion(i think). It's a snarly sound that comes and which i can replicate by...

    Sennheiser HD820

So here's a few months' feedback on the HD820 (for both those still on the fence regarding these as well as those who already own them): They became my favorite pair of headphones, all time, no doubt. They surpassed the HeKse, HD800S, LCD-2 and many, many others. Now, i realized this how...

    Sennheiser HD820

I understand your frustration, i really do. You wanted to like them but sadly, they weren’t meant to be. Such is life, sometimes :-). The thing is, there are FEW companies that do invest in R&D as much as Sennheiser does. Furthermore, the HD820’s design is so advances that i doubt there’s...

    Sennheiser HD820

If too much clamp is your fear then let me put it to rest: the HD820 not only does not have excessive clamp, it has too little, depending on your head’s shape and size. They are extremely comfortable and at least I, personally, can use them for hours upon hours without the slightest hint of fatigue.
