The HEKSEs really benefit from quality hybrid cables. They become a game changer in its price range. But I’ve recently changed the pads to the ZMF perforated lambskin pads and the had another sonic shift for the better.

I always disconnect all my headphone cables from mt headphones and store them on stands. Never had any issues.

I never said looked better. I can’t see them when on my head listening to music. But yes seriously. Their sound stage even challenges some open backs. Have you heard the HE-10P Stealth version of the HE-R10P.

Right now they have crazy open box deals on the HE-R10P Stealths on hifimans website. But make sure you go with the stealth version. They are better than the original HE-R10P.

The CC is a great closed back but I fell it’s bested by the Hifiman HE-10P Stealth & the DCA Stealths IMHO.
