I've always been a fan since I saw her on American Idol. Very talented IMO, I in particular love her jazzy tunes. She did a bit of work with Post Modern Jukebox too. Debating whether I can see her live at the Sony theater in Manhattan in February... I've always wanted to see her live.

I heard "No Machine" on "The Bear" and I was entranced. She has some real emotion there IMO, captivating voice.

Unfortunately I have a problem with closed backs aggravating my tinnitus, which IIRC is an issue a few members here share. Otherwise I'm pretty sure that the AC would be right up my sonic alley.

I'm a fan of the lambskin ultra perf too. I've been using them for quite a while and loving the sound...I am about due to switch back to the stock pads for a while though. Sometimes you just need dat bass.

I have the original Pendant, and I had the Caldera on loan for a while but it was a wonderful pairing IMO. The Pendant has plenty of juice on tap, and the ZMF special sauce shines through beautifully...the Pendant's excellent bass and the ZMF magic mids make a entrancing combo, at least for my...

At CanJam NYC there was a Vali 3 & Bokeh Open combo that really blew me away. Don't recall the DAC, but I assume it was the Modi Multibit... I might have to pick up one of those little Schitts for myself soon.

If you want to keep it under 1K, I have heard good things about the Lyr 3 and Modi Multibit DAC combo from Schiit Although I haven't heard it myself. I had heard the LYR 2, and it was an amazing tube hybrid. The Lyr3 is supposed to be a step up in all areas... hopefully I'll get to hear one at...

I've found that the 'muffled sound' usually has to do with how a headphone is damped and tuned, especially the bass to midrange transition. The Bokeh has really clear mids IMO and definitely doesn't sound muffled to my ears. The treble may be one of the most prominent ZMF has in their closed...
