No question the S gets a few Hz lower and few db lowder in the bass at the cost of smudgier/higher Q bass. Pity.

Those headbands stink. Many up/side grade. I've owned I think its 13 diff HFM's and besides the one I got that was about 3 days from a trash barrel and a little flaking of pleather on one that was 6 years old - they have all been fine including one made in 2009 and another in 2012.
