Don't have another phone readily available to try with, but will when I can. Weird thing is it was recognized in the past but at some point it just stopped recognizing it. Not sure if maybe updating to android 15 did something or if there's something else going on.- mashuto

Unfortunately does not seem to have helped. Tried clearing app data, uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Unpaired and repaired the headphones, tried the reset trick, app still says no device connected.- mashuto

Do I remember reading that others may have had issues with the app not recognizing the Apollo even when connected? Was there a solution? The fokus app is not seeing mine so I cannot make any adjustments. I tried unpairing and repairing the headphones, but do I need to maybe reset them or something?- mashuto

Campfire Chat - Official Campfire Audio 2024 Thread!
I like my pair. Though admittedly more for the overall package than the actual sound itself. I dont think they sound bad, but I wouldnt say they are really remarkable either. They sound relatively balanced, with a bit of a bass boost, and slightly elevated treble that can come across as maybe a...- mashuto

I was really just responding the other comment about the price for the tech and using the solo as another example. My guess is that comment was about essentially paying a high price for a single DD earphone, when there are other single DD earphones that can be had for fractions of the price...- mashuto

It probably will. Doesnt look like there is any noticeable pressure relief. And I have experienced once or twice when inserting too deep with too much pressure build up that sound becomes pretty muted.- mashuto

Great impressions. I mostly agree. I love love love the tuning on the singularity. It hits my preferences almost perfectly. The bass is so nice and warm and enveloping without destroying the mids. Treble is very much smooth and relaxed, which again fit my preferences pretty much perfectly. I do...- mashuto

Hah ok... extremely unhelpful comparison incoming... $200 Campfire Axion vs $1300 Nightjar Singularity + $650 Chord Mojo 2 + $200 Advanced Sound full custom sleeves. Bass and treble presentation on these are extremely different. The singularity is very much what I would consider a downward...- mashuto

Official Campfire Audio Multiverse III Effect - predictions, updates, & discussion
Just got mine in. Not having any fit problems, but bullet style iems are usually easy for me to get a fit. Was able to size down the tips and get a bit of a deeper but still super comfortable fit. Only problem is the cable is quite microphonic, and since I like bullet style iems down that might...- mashuto

Ahhh, a new trifecta color was going to be my guess after a new andromeda. Also not a winner here, but I guess it doesnt matter since I already ordered an axion. Congrats to whoever did win. Thanks for this, it was fun!- mashuto

Well then my guess is a white Andromeda but maybe like a preview tuning for the next Andromeda version to come out. Hope that counts as an entry! Not sure what I actually would hope for at this point, honestly an affordable small bullet style dd iem is really most of what I have been in the...- mashuto

I'm with you on that, but at this point I feel like it kinda has to be. Either way axion on order. Hoping it's a nice really portable set that still sounds good. Seems like it should be really nice and lightweight, so hoping for some good all day comfort.- mashuto

I've been mostly out of the iem game for a while now, but have been looking for a small compact iem to replace my failing final audio e5000. I think I'm in for the axion. Wasn't sure about the the sound profile, but warmish slightly v shape works for me.- mashuto

I have the sony xm5 for comparison. The noble case has about the same footprint but it's noticeably thicker. So I think the goal here isn't necessarily for a smaller footprint but for them to be slimmer.- mashuto

64 Audio | Solo - Single Planar-Magnetic UIEMs
Good to know. Granted I have not heard just a single planar IEM before, so I dont have a great point of reference, but the fibae 5 I have uses micro planars for treble and it runs a bit hot. The noble apollo, which granted is a full size headphone has a similar sized planar for treble, and while...- mashuto

64 Audio | Solo - Single Planar-Magnetic UIEMs
So I assume this is very similar in isolation and pressure to the duo. I seem to be one of the few here who really likes the duo, in part because of those aspects so I am very interested in this one. Wish there were some actual impressions out there l. Personally like warm full bodied sound...- mashuto

Haven't had that one but have had a few times where the app didn't recognize they were connected at all. The personalized eq also doesn't seem to work for me when it is recognized. It starts the different frequencies but nothing actually plays.- mashuto

For me audio "feels" louder with ANC on. Specifically because ANC quiets everything else, allowing you to hear the actual audio more clearly without distractions. Allowing you to then turn the volume down since you dont need it higher to drown out other noises. Of course this will probably...- mashuto

I have the xm4 and xm5. I find the ANC on the Apollo is probably closer to the xm4 but maybe not quite as good. Both have a bit of white noise when the ANC is on. The sonys are probably a bit better at eliminating noise, but the Apollo are pretty close. The xm5 are a bit better still, the ANC on...- mashuto

Used mine on a 5 hour flight earlier this week and I agree. ANC works about as well as expected. None of the ANC implementations out there can completely remove all noise, but I was happy to see the Apollo worked very well there on a plane. A slight concern I had before purchase was that these...- mashuto

UPS showed up nice and early just as I was about to leave for work, so I now get a whole day to listen to these. Had some trouble pairing them to my phone initially. Bloom Audio mentioned to me in an email that it would be shipping out on Tuesday. Which matches with the September 3rd date I think someone from noble mentioned earlier in this thread. Yea that's about how anc normally works. It's good at drowning out or really reducing repeating/constant sounds and lower frequency noises. Voices will always come through, though muted a bit. Higher frequency stuff too. But stuff like a fan, or a leaf blower, or a truck passing by, or airplane...- mashuto
