Auditioned Sennheiser HD-26 PRO
I love mine. I doubt that they're as durable as the 25s, so I default to the 25s when traveling. I marginally prefer the 26s on SQ. Both are great. I don't know if they're worth the 50% upgrade (in dollars).- devgru

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
I used the Comply foams (no canal issues) but the antihelix kills much like with the TF10s. For me they are not worth the pain after 30 minutes or so. I had gone through 3 pairs (right ear dead -> left ear dead -> sold). Yes, they were the best universals I've ever listened to, but too much pain...- devgru

I've had the DT770 and prefer the SQ on the HD 26. I can't wear the 770s on the go.- devgru

Auditioned Sennheiser HD-26 PRO
They are arguably a better aesthetic and I don't think they are as tough, but still seem like they will take a beating. A lot more complex in build, but no cables sticking out of the headband. I think the SQ is a major step up. i like them more than my 650. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk- devgru

Auditioned Sennheiser HD-26 PRO
Very similar. I would put these at an 8.5/10 with the Pro 900 at 10/10 (impact). For a portable they're incredible. They just get better and better as they burn-in. They seem a bit easier to drive than the 25s, even with the higher imp.- devgru

Auditioned Sennheiser HD-26 PRO
I love these things. They are very much like a portable Ultrasone Pro 900. They seem *a bit* less energetic on the high-end than the 25s which make them appear as though they have more mid-bass and darker. My new favorite phones. My wife won't use anything else so I had to buy another pair.- devgru

I gave in and bought another SE846 and will want to compare it to the W60. I actually like the matte-finish and understated looks of the Westie.- devgru

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
Yeah, sorry to hear. I had the same problems with the MMCX connectors on my SE535LTD and my SE846. I sold mine once I got a replacement pair from Shure. No more MMCX for me. They were epic when they worked.- devgru

Shure SE846: A New In-Ear Flagship From Shure. Finally! (Impressions p26-28)
I sold my IE80s here on the forum as my SE846s were incoming. TBH I prefer my IE80 to both the 846 and the 800. It's moot as my 846 had the "crackling" at the cable junction and the left bud is now dead. I used to live down the street from Shure's HQ but will have to send them back. I would rate...- devgru
