The HEKSE are the closest you get to Sus OG and so much easier to drive., but scales with better gear. So easy to see why. The easy to drive factor is why I still kept mine although having the Sus OG. But make no mistake if the Sus OG is properly driven it will be better than the HEKSE

Agreed, but with the deal for open box right now of the HE-R10P Stealths. I would jump on those instead if you need a close back. They are an amazing closed back. I don’t see this new headphone beating the HE-R10P Stealths out.

MPD-8 is a DAC you need an amp for headphones. So connect your Envy to the MPD-8.
