I agree. If you have an external DAC for example, you can adjust your computer volume and the volume of the DAC. This is not out of the norm. It is nice if they have volume buttons on the BT11 to control the Bluetooth volume but from my experience, it is quite common to have a separate volume...

What device you're connected to the BT11? I've used Windows 10, Windows 11 system, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. None of those exhibit crackling sound to my WF-1000MX4, NuraTrue Pro, or connected to FiiO BTR5 (in LDAC Codec) with 24-bit files via Apple Music or Roon.

@FiiO Willson Just a suggestion. at LDAC mode, the light is not "White", more like "Pale Blue". Should clarify that.

No Driver is needed, I plugged in on my Windows system, Both Win10, and Win11, and neither need drivers. Shows up as a sound device after a brief moment of loading the default driver. Roon shows it is playing a 96/24 signal to the dongle.
