Really loving the xd05t. Got it a few days ago. Wonderfully tube-y yet the DAC brings wonderful detail. My only complaint is that after about an hour - it runs really hot! It doesn't really bother me. I'm just wondering if it's gonna melt down after say 3 hours!

You can keep it plugged in without diminishing the battery's life. According to iBasso: The charger disconnects when the batteries are fully charged. Once depleted below 8v, it kicks in again.

Yeh to clarify - the Odin has prominent, pretty powerful bass. A much bigger, grander sound. the Onyx bass is quick and tight but pretty tactile. Different flavors really.

I don't hear it as warm at all. It's nicely tuned and it's definitely not clinical or dry sounding by any means. But as always - try them out! So many variables - the music you like, the source chain, your physiology - impact your impressions of an IEM.
