Anyone have the ATH-C710?

Those AKGs must be bass monsters. I find the bass on the ES7 to very punchy in I thinks its' hard to find a headphone with more bass. Maybe those AKG are answer to those who just have to have more bass.

There's beach audio and beach camera on amazon. I got mine ES7 from one of those. and mine are real.

maybe some ATH-M50 for bass and a lower high FQ than the grados?

I am listening to Moby right now on my SR60's the bass sounds great. I have to give the thumps up on Grado SR60 for techno.

Great SQ wise. They lack some high end detail of my Grado SR60s. I also had to bend them a bit because they clamped on my head a little tight. For a closed portable headphone for 110 dollars I think it's the best in the marketplace. Now if you don't need a closed portable headphone there...

Grado sr60 great SQ for 69 bucks

The 777 have the most bass of pretty much any headphone. AD700 are on the low end for bass. If you are looking for bargain Grados SR60s are the way to go. They just Rock!

SR60s are less money than the AD700 and HD555. You are in the range of personal preferences. I recommend to go with the retro cool look of the grados and of course the Grados Just Rock!

RX700 should be too bad for 35 bucks. I got my kids JVC for the TV in the car and they sound pretty good.

I have the 202 and found the same thing not much better than the headphone that came with the ipod. I got some Grado SR60. Quantum leap in sound quality. Don't believe the hype on those who say it's weak in bass. They don't believe real life has enough bass.

Go for the quantum leap in SQ and go for the 70 buck Grado SR60.

What's forward sounding sound like? My Grados sound accurate to me especially on the high FEQ end.

if you buy a 100 buck set of headphone instead of a 500 buck that leaves 400 for cds and concerts. Live music is better than headphones.
