My DP-S1 is acting up, as in the lowest part of the touch screen becomes unresponsive. If I tap on the right bottom the touch registers as left bottom. Is there any fix for this, apart from a new screen?

No gapless on DSD/DSF, but on other formats it works very well indeed.

Thank you for the new software! The addition of replay gain and options for the buttons/volume in screen off mode has made the DP-S1 the perfect player for me :)

Turn it off while a song is playing, next time you turn it on you will see the song and album art at the bottom of the screen, tapping that makes the song start from the beginning.

Is it a Pioneer or Onkyo that you have? I wonder if this screen protector could be used on the Onkyo even if it says it's for the Pioneer. Does anyone know if the screens of the both are the same?

I had the DX50 with rockbox and now have the DP-S1, while there is not really that much in it with the 3.5mm jack, there is a big difference once you go balanced. Obviously the Ibasso can't do balanced, but the Onkyo really shines in balanced mode, and even more so with the newest FW update...

Went and got myself a USB OTG cable for the Onkyo, can't seem to get any sound out of it though, is there a special trick for it? Edited to add, the latest FW is installed and it's a Japan version.

I'm very happy with my DP-1S, I only have one wish for a next FW update, gapless for DSD, please, thank you :)

If anyone from Onkyo/Pioneer is reading this thread, please add gapless DSD playback. Other than that, it's perfect.

I have had my little Onkyo for a few weeks now and it's a rather good player, can't wait to try it in balanced mode. One question though, has the MQA update been released yet, as I can't seem to find much info on it, and when playing a MQA file it doesn't show up as it.

I thought as much, it's just that the Pioneer case on Richersounds looks square, so that got my hopes up.

Well, I have a DP-S1 coming my way. Now, for a case, can the Pioneer case be used on the Onkyo?

Has anyone heard the XDP-100R and XDP-30R/DP-X1S? I was impressed by the sound of the 100, but want something smaller.

Is there any replay-gain settings, or can it read the RG info from files?

Can it read replay gain tags from foobar2000?

Has anyone who had a listen to the X5III also tried the XDP-100R? I'm after a new player, and these both seem to fall into the sameish money. I've heard the 100R and was really impressed by it, with the Pinnacle P1 and PM-3.
