My X5 has been having the famous wheel problem for quite some time, now it's getting worse to an extend that I don't even want to use it anymore (wrong direction when turning the wheel, sometimes stuck, sometimes jump too fast, sometimes hard to stay on the item to be selected...). I wonder if...- fengwei007

This is to make the jack not too tight when push in or pull out the plug. But it's not a fix to solve the loose jack problem I guess. But thanks anyway :)- fengwei007

I wonder how you fixed yours? Need to open up the player and do some soldering work? Any tips on this will be very appreciated. I just bought one which is on the way over to me. Don't know if this will happen to mine, but it's better to be prepared. Thanks and cheers!- fengwei007

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
Exactly what I felt when I tried and compared the QP1r with some other DAPs. To me the QP1r sounded thin, light and bright. Even the Hifiman HM650 with Discrete amp card sounds far better to me. I don't know how come so many people like this player. And so many people even praise this player...- fengwei007

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
As much as I enjoy the mojo w lcd2, I still feel the lcd2 sounds nicer w fuller body when hooked up w Liquid Carbon in the chain. But I'd have no problem even if I didn't have the LC.- fengwei007

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
Thanks for sharing the info. I bought the PowerAmp app which supports FLAC play back. The stock Music app also supports. I feel the stock HTC music player works better when paired with the Mojo, but when I'm using the phone w/o any external amp/DAC, I prefer the PowerAmp. Now I just need to...- fengwei007

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
Just a quick update on my own test. My cheaply OTG cable came in mail today. Hooked up the M8 and Mojo, played w PowerAmp app first, there was some noise once in a while, not that pleasant. Then tried the built-in HTC Music app, sound fantastic w no noise at all. Now I'm even happier w the Mojo...- fengwei007

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
Has anyone tried HTC One M8 (with the latest Android OS6 - Marshmallow) together with Mojo yet? I have yet to try the combo due to lack of OTG cable (ordered one, and it's on the way). I saw some guys tried the combo in some earlier posts but seemed the M8 doesn't support Mojo natively, and the...- fengwei007

Audeze LCD-2 Impressions Thread
Thanks. Sure hope so :) Already placed order, but this time I opted for the non-leather ones. The current leather ones only look bad, but they are still very nice and comfortable. The peelings are only at the edges.- fengwei007

Audeze LCD-2 Impressions Thread
Really enjoy the sound of the LCD2.2 pre-Fazor I have, especially paired w Liquid Carbon amp Balanced. The thing is the earpads started to peel pretty badly at the rims due to its age, well, only 2.5 years, not really too old. But the earpads look very bad... On their website, it says the...- fengwei007

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
Between these two, I definitely like the X00 better for its slightly more neutral sound and better vocals. Sold the TH900 w/o any regret, but I'm not gonna sell the THX00.- fengwei007

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
Yes. A little bit tight, but can put on w/o any problem. I'm using the stock D7000 pads and the Lawton Angle Pads for D7000. Don't like the stock pads of THX00.- fengwei007

HiFiMAN HM-901 visit pg 18. IMGS pg 19. NEW beta FW 1st page. . to the 901s. .new 901s FW .
The line out is pretty good too, especially through the dock1 station. I haven't bothered using my computers for music play back for a very long time, with the 901s/dock1 combo, I don't feel I miss anything ... Well, other than some DSD music collection .- fengwei007

HiFiMAN HM650 Portable Music Player Impressions Thread
HM650 has exactly the same or similar firmware as the 802/901/802u/901u/802s/901s. If you can't live with one of them, you won't like the others. Actually without the wheel, HM650 might have less problem than the 802/901. I have both HM650 and 901s now, I like both.- fengwei007

Official HIFIMAN HE1000 Impressions Thread
Yes, I tried it at high gain, and compared with hm650 w discrete card, the output power difference is very obvious. These values are from Questyle website: QP1r Headphone AMP Output Power Gain = High Max Output Amplitude: Vout=1.9V rms Output Power: Pout=40mW @32Ω Pout=12mW @300Ω...- fengwei007

Official HIFIMAN HE1000 Impressions Thread
HM650/802/901 (not 901s) with balanced or discrete amp card have much higher output power than the QP1R. From my own test in store, the QP1R is way too weak to drive the HEK properly, can't compare w the HM650 and discrete amp card combo as far as output power is concerned when matched with the HEK.- fengwei007
