  As far as I know, the VSD3 ist just a diffrently tuned version with a focus on lows and mids while the VSD3s is focused on mids and highs and in general the more neutral version.

Ostry or I would consider the Vsonic vsd3 without the s, id put the etys over the rest you have listed. ymmv

  Could possibly be as the DT880/600 is my fav fullsize at the moment. I was using my O2combo, Iphone 4s with LOD to C&C BH2/E11 and Sony Xperia Z2.   IMO(!) the IM02 does everything better than the Havi. The lows have more impact by equal quantity, the mids and treble are crystal clear...

Bought this year following asian IEMs and would rank them:   ATH IM02 > Tenore > TTPOD T1E > Havi B3 Pro1   wondering if I should try to get my hands on the Ostry or Sony MH1 as a Tenore replacement, I sadly have 2 broken sets of them.

  1. Yes my Z2 and Iphone 4s can drive them to over normal listening levels on max volume. 2. The comfort is ok, its not on tenore level where I sometimes forgot that they were still in my ears. 3. They have quite a balanced sound signature, I dont think they have problems with any specific genre

Whats the point of a removeable cable at this pricepoint tho ? Yes you can get some cheap 15$ microphonic cables from china but for 40$ ... I rather buy a second pair, maybe with a different tuning, and just use the cable that comes with the new phones.

Looks like the Vsonic CEO was a little overeager with his soundprofile claims his new phones were supposed to reach.
