Senn IE7 = HD600?
Simple answer = No 1. IE7 has lesser soundstage than HD600 2. IE7's highs are recessed compared to HD600 3. IE7 take ages to burn and sound their best 4. There is too much of midbass hump in IE7- sanke1

Sennheiser IE8 Impressions Thread
@ mark I tried my best to love IE7s but ended hating HD595s and IE7s both. If I have to say how much better IE8 is compared to IE7, I say whopping 70% better. This claim is not exaggerated. In simple terms, they are just better for any type of music. I still don't consider myself...- sanke1

Sennheiser IE8 Impressions Thread
Got IE8 after trying IE7. Got them here UK ebay from some user with name starting with raj. 140 GBP brand new boxed and shipped royal mail special delivery Out of the box, these completely crush IE7s in every respect. First and foremost: More treble, finally. The soundstage is larger than...- sanke1

Got HD650, now the amp
Well I just compared the line out of my Laptop's Realtek Sound card and Ibasso D2+ BOA. I hardly noticed any huge difference. Just soundstage may be little bit big on BOA.- sanke1

Sennheiser IE7 Appreciation Thread ~~~
Burned the IEMs for 250 hrs on normal listening volume. Did the frequency sweep for 20 hrs. Then just burned them again at 20% above normal listening volume till 400 hrs. Here's a summary of my experience Sound quality was just not acceptable in the beginning. No highs, bloated bass and...- sanke1

Sennheiser IE7 Appreciation Thread ~~~
I did a frequency sweep couple of times. And now, these days i enjoy IE7 more than HD595. So much that i am dumping HD595s and getting HD650s to complement my IE7s. I actually can't describe the subtle differences which i note from current 400+ burned in pair compared to brand new pair. Has...- sanke1

Ibasso D2 Boa . . . new and smaller . . . with updates on 1st page. .
I kept the amp running for past 2 days at almost untolerable volume levels. Today when i came home, a miracle has happened. Some bass has started coming out. Previously i used to keep the volume knob of D2 at 11'o clock. Now I have to keep it between 12 and 1'o clock. But sound quality has...- sanke1
