For me, the ORCHESTRA LITE is a good set. Yes, definition is not their strong point, they are not airy and do not convey a great sense of space, but they have a soft sound and make listening pleasant.- Ferdinando1968

Evidently you observe the universe from opposite points 😂 As far as I'm concerned, everything we say and hear are only personal opinions, more or less respectable, more or less technical and precise, but always and only PERSONAL OPINIONS. If what we hear coincides with our thoughts, we judge...- Ferdinando1968

Unfortunately not.. damn. They are still in Italian customs for export. The seller asked me not to ship with express courier, but with the normal post office, to avoid customs delays in Chinese customs. And this frankly worries me a bit, both for the increase in times, and (above all) for the...- Ferdinando1968

Thanks to both of you. I would certainly like to get both, but my immediate budget doesn't allow it. I will reflect on what you have written, although, to be honest, while I consider myself a basshead, I have found that the clear midrange (coupled with respectable bass and mid-bass) really...- Ferdinando1968

As far as I'm concerned it's an excellent device. An upgrade across the board compared to the BTR7. Leaving aside considerations and comparisons on the sound, for me it has the following advantages: - analog volume control (that was the thing I missed most with the BTR7). It is very...- Ferdinando1968

My path: VIC20-C64-C128-A1000-A500 I still have them all except the C128 and A1000. I started with the VIC20, which had a fantastic 5K of RAM, with about 1.5K of that dedicated to video RAM, leaving about 3.5K available 😂 +100- Ferdinando1968

Have you not encountered any traces of hiss using sensitive low impedance IEMs?- Ferdinando1968

The point you raise is correct. However, there are many cases of DAC/dongle with high impedance outputs that sound really good. L&P W4 (which I personally use) or some Shanling come to mind. Do they alter the sound signature of some hybrid IEMs? Yes, but the result is good (to my ears). I...- Ferdinando1968

Thanks for understanding 😂 Seriously. Of course there are better basshead IEMs. From what I could try and as far as I'm concerned: Penon Serial, QUATTRO, TURBO, SHOZY B2, Dynaquattro are all better. Where by better, I mean either more balanced, or more detailed , or less bleed, or better...- Ferdinando1968

Guys, I'm still a bit undecided between EBC80 and SHOCK. In any case, with which of the 3 cables did you get EBC80?- Ferdinando1968

I tried several on XD05-PRO, using a DIY board. I usually use SPARKOS SS3602, but I also used their bigger brothers (which sound even better). I also tried BURSON VIVID 6 and 7 and STACCATO. SPARKOS remain my favorites, but it's a matter of taste. There are others who have other preferences...- Ferdinando1968

Guys, from the height of my ignorance, I tell you that these are IEMs for those who want to listen to BASS BASS BASS. They are not balanced IEMs. They are not good for everything. I myself do not listen to them all the time and with all genres. There are days when I want that type of sound, I...- Ferdinando1968

I can't listen to it in NOS. We don't all have the same tastes, fortunately. There is room for everyone. I don't like it at all in NOS, and I barely tolerate it in OS. But I admit that it is not my favorite DAC in terms of sound. The product is excellent as a product, especially for the...- Ferdinando1968

Oh yes, it is not a set suitable for any musical genre. Frankly, I expected it when I ordered it. I am sorry for your disappointment. If you allow me a personal consideration, I am convinced that part of your negative judgment is due (as you yourself wrote) also to the bad unboxing experience...- Ferdinando1968

Shanling TINO. They are really good, excellent I would say: beautiful, comfortable to wear, quality construction, nice modular cable, with USB option. From a sound point of view, they have a very very clear and clean sound, with clear transients (clear, tight and fast bass, with a good bass...- Ferdinando1968

I'm trying this Lotoo PAW D2 interface. It is basically a USB-SPDIF/AES-EBU interface for STUDIO use. The peculiarity of this digital interface is that it also has an analog output (AKM4490) in addition to the usual digital outputs. It has a series of VERY valid predefined EQ profiles. It...- Ferdinando1968

I sincerely hope that at least the IEMs sound the way you like them. If that's the case, then so be it. They may be the best IEMs in the world, but the ‘esoteric’ configuration alone is not enough to convince someone to spend 2k EUR on an IEM from an unknown brand.- Ferdinando1968

GO-BLU is awesome, but you should not use sensitive IEMs, otherwise you will get strong hiss. I've been using it for about 1 week. Arrived with FW 0.4 (about) (😱). I noticed a bug on the battery charge indication. I read about others having problems with LDAC, but I haven't tried it yet. I...- Ferdinando1968

The mechanism worked, and I got the T2s, damn me. I haven't listened to the P7s, but for 150 EUR I'd personally get the LITEs. They're one of my favorite sets. They don't even sound like an all-BA. They're not a very technical and resolute set, though.- Ferdinando1968
