Reviewing components
...It also seems that my ignorance is showing. I suppose I have been hanging around in subjectivity land for too long. Thanks for the link to The Audio Critic, and that amplifier article. I suppose the real question is why anyone would want to read flowery ******** in lieu of a real review.- Spaceman_Spiff

The MMA thread (Affliction, UFC, DREAM, Strikeforce, etc.)
...Gleison moves away and Josh just chases after him. (Neer throws a front kick that lands) Goldberg: <indecipherable grunt> (sounds like "teak") *pause* Goldberg: That was for my crew. Queries regarding recabling/terminating of jacks
Quote: Currently i have a pair of crossroads HR2 that have a static/crackling sound issue in the right earbud. Will recabling fix the problem? If so, i can get it recabled at a shop and save some money... I don't know. But surely the manufacturer would replace a defective product...- Spaceman_Spiff

Queries regarding recabling/terminating of jacks
See http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f6/how...ep-pics-50729/. Changing the jack should be easy, and if done properly won't affect the strength of the jack or cable. Soldering the cable to the jack doesn't introduce weakness, that's how it was made in the first place. Changing the entire cable...- Spaceman_Spiff

How do you deal with the changing seasons, physically?
Fall is definitely my favourite time of year. Colder weather, spectacular foliage, stronger beer, pumpkin pie... What's not to love? The air around here gets very dry as winter settles in, and I also have the dry hand problem. However, there is a very simple solution: Buy a good...- Spaceman_Spiff
