Probably the only one I haven't tried. In my collection, are AKG N5, EX, Pi8, Pixel Buds 2 Pro and DPP. Next week the Rex5 and the B&O 11. We will see...- subguy812

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
So far....we have Pi8, Svanar, AZ80, DPP, EX, and Noble(not sure which)as the general consensus best-sounding buds. Maybe Rex5 and the new B&O 11 will unseat these. Did I leave something out(sq only)?- subguy812

Believe me, my posts will not impact John's posts or his customer service. I do not think I mentioned anything about them paying for their sponsorship or having privileges. Again, I never said anything about anyone loving their job or loving to make money, nor do I begrudge either of those...- subguy812

You can start one for me if you wish. I will say this, I am pretty much the anti-Noble, but I threw a couple of dollars at Noble. The green goblin is headed my way Monday and I also have a B&O 11 on the way.- subguy812

The trick I found with the Svanar is once they have an initial connection, go to Bluetooth drop-down and disconnect, then immediately reconnect...works for me.- subguy812

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
I loved the Sony DAP, and if you have the non-EU variant, it has enough power to drive any of my IEMs. It has a great tone and a truly satisfying organic warmth. That said, I own the Hiby R8 II, and I love it as well. It is an awesome player at a more economical price point, IMO.- subguy812

It's attractive, but I'm refusing to allow myself to contribute to TWS's going down the stupidly priced path that Wired has. It is inevitable, but the Bluetooth technology needs to greatly improve to support these high prices. At the end of the day, non-wire sound quality cannot rival wired.- subguy812

It is true that $ $ can really alter perception and feelings. As I said in an earlier post, the second set of Pi8 really clicked with me. I love the look of the Pi8 as well, but obviously, I can't see them when they are in my ear. I picked up the DPP for the third time(at 149) and most of the...- subguy812

Me as well. I tried a couple of wing/tip combos but found the small wing and large tips give me the best fit. That sound....oh my! My third time as well.- subguy812

I wrote up a little something about them quite a while ago...I think I was the only reviewer I knew that mentioned the creaking plastic. I found it on Reddit and other places after I wrote it but...ugh.- subguy812

They have been my go-to headphones. While I have a tendency to chase new purchases, I could be perfectly happy with just these. I will never forget wearing them at the pool and swimming with them in my ears; they performed fabulously after being submerged. At a price tag of $200 for...- subguy812

I do think the lift in the bass is to counter balance the fit. Always felt the seal was loose, but I learned to leave them alone and it was fine, that was just how they fit. They were okay to me, nothing special. Their price has been high and stable since they announced this was the last model ever- subguy812
