EFFECT AUDIO New release | Signature Series II
New cables are in! These feel more flexible than the OG cables which were already good. I'm loving the new hardware as well. Great job Effect Audio! I look forward to reviewing these.- corgifall

EFFECT AUDIO: Signature Series II Tour - US & EU
What a happy surprise! I wasn't expecting these to come in so fast. I have to say I really like the quality of the new cables. Definitely more flexible vs the OG Signature cables. I really like the new hardware as well. I thought the old cables were nice given the entry level price but Effect...- corgifall

EFFECT AUDIO New release | Signature Series II
I'll be excited to eventually check these out. I mentioned it in the tour thread but the OG Signature cables all have held up extremely well over the last two years of constant use. No hardening of the cable material, no cracking of material/sleeving and the plugs still have low wear on the...- corgifall

EFFECT AUDIO: Signature Series II Tour - US & EU
Seeing as I use the original Signature line on my weekly rotation IEMs since they launched over two years ago, I look forward to eventually checking these out. The OG Signature cables I've used have had zero issues! No hardening of the sleeving and the plugs have held up without any noticeable...- corgifall

Review by 'corgifall' on item 'Letshuoer S12 (2024 Anniversary Edition)'
I loved the original S12 and at the time, it was my preferred planar option since it sounded decently well rounded with a stronger treble that came off as raw sounding which was either a positive or negative depending on the listener's treble preference. Eventually an updated S12 Pro came out...- corgifall

Yeah, USB-C is better for sure. I only list the loss of USB-B since I have old expensive cables I can’t use anymore. I consider it a con for those who might be in the same situation. The transition to USB-C on these newer units has been a little slow. I give it maybe a year max before everything...- corgifall

Reply to review by 'corgifall' on item 'FiiO M11'
The biggest issue will be long term support for streaming apps on what is a super old version of Android at this point that all the original M series FiiO DAPs run. Also, the M11 was known to being a brighter sounding DAP overall. I would look for something modern like the Hiby R4. It’s $250...- corgifall

Review by 'corgifall' on item 'S.M.S.L RAW-MDA 1'
I really like the SMSL offerings in general. While they do come out with quite a few products throughout the year, they do seem to improve on their designs in the lower cost range with newer components instead of rehashing the same parts in new shells. The higher end ESS ES9038Pro at the end of...- corgifall

Review by 'corgifall' on item 'LETSHUOER S15'
It’s no secret I really liked LETSHUOER’s S12 and their C12. While I liked the initial S12 offering, it always sounded a little raw in the treble and I always figured they would find a way to improve the Planar performance and tighten the sound up over a few generations. While the new S15 is a...- corgifall

Letshuoer S08-Planar unit under 100USD, an innovation?
The planar used in the S08 is peak performance for the price of the S08. They did well with what I would consider a neutral-warm all rounder tuning. This was using my preferred Spinfit W1 tips since I couldn’t get a good seal with the stock tips. My ears are picky. I’m very happy with the...- corgifall

Reply to review by 'corgifall' on item 'Symphonium Audio Titan'
Yeah, it’s usually eventually disclosed in private or public but sometimes it requires some searching which is strange. I knew the driver count in advance for the Titan and Crimson but it’s just strange they don’t mention it officially on the product page. Thanks for the link though. Will be...- corgifall

Review by 'corgifall' on item 'Symphonium Audio Titan'
It is well known I’m a fan of Symphonium’s IEM line up and since the Helios, I've been a fan like many others when it comes to Symphonium’s wonderful tuning and their recent designs that are stunning to the eye. As a fan of the Triton which sounded like a fun tuned IEM compared to the Helios, I...- corgifall

Review by 'corgifall' on item 'I/O Audio Volare'
As a huge fan of the Moondrop Variations and older THIEAUDIO Clairvoyance/Monarch MK2, I have a specific love for refined slightly V-shaped tuned IEMs. I’ve been out of the reviewing game for quite a few months due to dealing with our old apartment flooding and destroying mostly everything we...- corgifall
