Meet The FiiO M7: An Exynos 7270-Powered HiFi Music Player

I am wondering, really interested in the M7, I have the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 32 ohm headphones. I am pretty certain that the M7 cannot drive them to my desired volume, The Shanling M3S, a dap with a lot more power couldn't either. Luckily I have the Fiio A5 amp but I have one question...

Meet The FiiO M7: An Exynos 7270-Powered HiFi Music Player

Forgive me my ignorance...is there a universal standard for line outs? I have just connected the A5 to the line out of my old Sony Hifi cd player, in low gain I have more than plenty volume and a very nice sound. Will fix the line out of the M7 give the same voltage to the a5? Thanks, Dennis.

Meet The FiiO M7: An Exynos 7270-Powered HiFi Music Player

Thanks, just received the A5, just been test driving it with my old Zune hd 120 on the headphones out, pretty amazing, for my understanding does a dedicated line out give the same or less power to feed the amp? Dennis.

    Obscure Chinese DAPs

Maybe try the agptek3, or it's sibling the Hifiwalker H2, good sturdy build quality but not enough output power for my over ears cans. The sound signature is pretty laid back with slightly rolled off trebles. They're on Amazon. Dennis

Meet The FiiO M7: An Exynos 7270-Powered HiFi Music Player

Great review! Still keeps me doubting between, Sony nw-45, Cayin n3, fiio X3 and the M7. I have tested the Shanling m3s, I found it too laid back and boring. I think I need a bit of an dynamic player. Also I have a fiio A5 on order, will this be powerfully enough to drive my DT770 32 and 80 ohm...

    Sony NW-A40 Series NW-A45/A46/A47

Interesting that it can juice DT770 80 ohm cans with only the low mW output, I like my music loud and think I have to use an amp but there's no line out... Will I be able to drive a fiio A3 from the headphone out?

Meet The FiiO M7: An Exynos 7270-Powered HiFi Music Player

Interested in this player, is there a line out to give it some more juice with a file A3 headphone amp? How does this player compare sound wise to nw45a and cayin n3? Thanks, Dennis.

    Sony NW-A40 Series NW-A45/A46/A47

Very interested in buying an NW45, few question though, how to re-flash it, does it need a headphone amp to drive 32 ohm DT770's? Is it even possible to use a headphone amp like the Fiio A3 with this dap? Cheers, Dennis.

    Obscure Chinese DAPs

Ok, Just ordered a Shanling m3s on Amazon France, it was 245 euro including shipping, 65 euro cheaper than the German site... What are some good closed cans for around 100-150? I like a balanced, detailed sound profile, with bass as it is meant to be, not a fan of extra bass heavy headphones...

    Obscure Chinese DAPs

Okay, i hope you guys can give me some suggestions... I need a dap, my Samsung a8 is not satisfying. I am looking for a dynamic player with Bluetooth, that can play loud also in Bluetooth mode and takes an 128gb sd. I have tried the Hifi walker H2, not loud enough in Bluetooth and barely corded...

    Obscure Chinese DAPs

Tested the hifi walker today, not impressed, flat no dynamics, lacking power to drive my Jabra move to a decent sound level, not my cup of tea. Returned them. My Samsung a8 is more engaging. What to try next?

    Obscure Chinese DAPs

Very interested in the hifi walker H2, how's the output, and battery? I want a dap that can do corded and Bluetooth cans and one that can drive them good and loud...

Replace Jabra move for new cans with similar soundprofile.

Thanks, B&O are above my budget...I am an audio technica guy but not too fond about their bt cans, too much treble and harsh sounding. Sony wh-h 900 maybe?

    Output 120GB Classic Ipod USA.

Hi, simple question, how many milliwatts is the output per channel on the american version Ipod classic 120 GB? Hope it's more than on the tamed EU version. Or should I look for a different player for a decent sound and volume? Cheers, Dennis.
