Accidently reversed polarity for xlr cable

Me and buddy did a DIY XLR cable,    I accidentally reversed the polarity of the xlr cable, meaning in one of the cable one of the connecters (hot was connect to pin 3 and neutral was connect to pin 2. The ground was connected to pin 1 correctly. I already plugged it in last night to try it...

Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon Owners Impressions

I am using my HD800 with the LC on with SE input, my dac is balanced output. I think it is a huge improvement vs my Bottlehead Crack and Teac UD301's integrated amp. I use the 3x gain and the volume knob is 9 o clock. Can't wait until make my own balanced headphone cable for them. Hopefully that...

This happened with me when I was so excited for the Bottlehead Crack. It was really hard for me to tell the difference with the Bottlehead Crack, people made it seem like it was some kind of magical sound. I had to switch around amps to see if there were big differences and really the...

The Teac UD 301 is amazing for what the price given. ☯️ Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon... a $599 Cavalli amp???

I ask Dr. Cavalli about the pairing with the HD800, from what he said I think it is gonna be pretty good with the HD800   Hi . Thanks for writing.   The Carbon is capable of very large voltage swings at its output and is quite suitable for HD800s.   Regards,   Alex Cavalli...

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

Yeah the mircophonics are so annoying, even when I sit down at home to listen to er4 you can't really move. Some people re cable their er4 for that reason, but I am not sure if that will take away the original sound of the er4.    At first the deep insertion was bothersome but after a...

    ☯️ Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon... a $599 Cavalli amp???

Amp is the measurement for current. Usually our houses are wired with 15 amp breaker boxes which means the lowest gauge for cable is a 14 gauge cable. I am pretty sure that the LC does not draw over 15 amps, or your breaker will always trip, unless your wired to a 20 amp breaker box etc. So I am...

I have no idea if it will sound different than the stock power cables I have but for 50 bucks well worth to even try.   I have tried the Audioquest Cinnamon USB...

    ☯️ Cavalli Audio's Liquid Carbon... a $599 Cavalli amp???

So I see a lot of people buying cables from monoprice, they look like pretty sturdy cables etc. I am always curious the differences form a $500 xlr interconnect and power cord from the monoprice cords. I never think a power cord would matter too much for audio, but interconnects transfers analog...

    TEAC UD-301

I would go with the teac ud301, has balanced output, a good power supply, DSD fucntion. Haven't seen many people talking about pairing dacmagic or ud301 with the LC. The LC has only been shown at shows, so who knows.. Don't worry it should be good though.
