Fun closed-back headphones recommandation with good bass

I do not know these and they are not so easy to find. Using Google I see that a shop has Final Audio Pandora Hope IV and the Sonorous II. Nothing else... :frowning2:

Can someone help me to improve my Audiophile skills?

You are touching something very important here and I think that the answer is that I wanted the music I listen to, to sound in a certain way. And now that you say it, I have the feeling that I am sliding to the other side. And even if I must admit that have pleasure listening to my headphones, I...

Can someone help me to improve my Audiophile skills?

@ProtegeManiac : Thank you so much for having taken the time to give me such a detailed answer. What Evshrug said is so on true. I have a few passions in life and therefore I am part of several communities. I do not know why but the Hi-fi enthusiasts community is by far the kindest and the most...

Can someone help me to improve my Audiophile skills?

Lol. I could hear up to slightly higher than 15 kHz last time it has been measured... maybe if my dog wants to borough the headphones it could have an impact. Give me a sec, I will ask him... Oreo! Oreo! Ok, visibly he doesn't give a d... Thanks for your kind help. I am still getting used to my...

Can someone help me to improve my Audiophile skills?

Hi Jimbop54, It is indeed a strange question. I guess, a better formulation would have been: What are efficient ways to develop my ears so that I can fully appreciate good equipment? Some people can just enjoy things for what they are. I am not so fortunate and I always try to learn more...

Can someone help me to improve my Audiophile skills?

This post is going to be a long one. Just that you know. Subject: what is an audiophile and how to actively become one? Introduction: I do not consider myself an audiophile. I am just someone that likes to listen to music, especially on some equipment and not so much on some other equipment...

Fun closed-back headphones recommandation with good bass

My wife hits like a truck driver... I won't take any chance. But thanks. Btw, today, I received a delivery. The 1MORE Triple Driver Over ear. They are... hmm... They are strange and visceral. I was comparing them to my XB500 and then to my HM5 (because the 1MORE has a tone of bass but very well...

Fun closed-back headphones recommandation with good bass

Hi, I do not know about the specs but I did A/B them and they sounded nothing alike. The Classics have a warm sound, V-shaped but with nice details in the mids. The Neo on the other hand sounded "muddy" and a bit lifeless. If the only difference was the cups material, then wow, what a difference...

Fun closed-back headphones recommandation with good bass

Hi, I used to love my Sony MDR-XB500. Actually, I still love how fun they sound. So much bass but not muffled. They remind me of listening to the old Pioneer Hifi system from the 70s I grew up with. I am looking for something similar, fun, with impactful bass but not muffled BUT closed...

What is your favorite Internet Radio and why you like it - my one is FIP

Hi guys,   It was a while since I was here (busy in life and at work), however I "re-"discovered a Radio station that I think is worth sharing. I post this here as I did not see a forum that would fit, but if I missed it please let me know.   So, some time ago I decided that I would like an...

    Yamaha hph mt220 thread (Merged)

Hi Fluffy Muffinz and thx for the comment. I hope they don't sound close to the m-50 as I really don't like these. They sound too much "in the face" for my taste. I have now the Sony MA-900 and even if I don't expect anything nearly as good, I am trying to find some acceptable closed ersatz...

Sony MDR-MA900: why you shouldn’t miss these   1/ because “lachlan“ likes them LOL 2/ because they are probably the most comfortable headphones money can buy 3/ because they have been developed not to require an amp 4/ because they might be the last of a kind / or maybe precursors, who...

Review by 'tussinette' on item 'Sony MDR-V55/BR DJ style Headphones'

I see two big positives to these cans: 1/ the sound (nice fun V-shaped sound, a bit forward but not "in your face") 2/ they fold pretty small   As the isolation is not really good, these should be used in places where noise is not an issue. And this is for me the problem, I cannot use them...
