Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Did some traveling with the JEA 65t and pretty happy with them, going to keep them. Even just using them on the airplane they reduced noise significantly while turned off. The connection stability and ease of use has been perfect. I thought I got a good deal at $139.99 refurb on eBay, but the...- taylor

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Do either of the two Sony (SP700N or WF-1000X) support multiple pairings? I don't need them to be paired to two devices simultameously, but I do want them to be able to remember two devices and connect to either without going through the pairing process. I'm not sure how to interpret what it...- taylor

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I just got the Jabras. Sound is good to me. Isolation is on par with regular IEMs. I was surprised with how secure the fit was, and very impressed with connection quality. From an ease of use perspective they were great, take them out of the case and they turn themselves on and pair. Totally...- taylor

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I've got a set of the Jabra Elite Active 65t arriving tomorrow, will post my impressions. I'm seeing very mixed impressions of their SQ there. I'm coming from a very old pair of Shure E2C IEMs, and I found one person who had done a head-to-head comparison and said the Jabras are a bit better...- taylor

PHILADELPHIA area meet October 26th, 2013
I will put in a tentative "yes". (Thanks for the PM, have we met before? I was at a lot of the Philly/NYC/Maryland meets nearly a decade ago, haven't been active since then, but it'd be cool to check out all the new gear that's come out since then, and meet some cool people). I'll have to see...- taylor

Maverick Audio DAC/Amp
Apologies if this has already been asked (long thread) What's better to use on this, USB or SPDIF? I've been reading it up and most say it depends on the USB chip being used. I have 4 interconenct options 1 - Use the USB in the maverick 2 - Use toslink out from my motherboard...- taylor

Maverick Audio DAC/Amp
Does anyone else have problems with their D1 when switching digital inputs? It seems to take a considerable amount of time to switch. I have two PCs connected, one with USB and one with optical SPDIF. When I switch over to the optical one, it takes a minute or so for it to pick up the...- taylor

Upcoming: Hockey Playoffs
How was that shot with about 4 minutes left in the game not a goal? They showed the replay... they knocked it at the goalie, bounced off his knee-pads, recovered the rebound, and then hit the puck in. You can see the puck get inside of the net during the replay. You can't ever see the...- taylor

Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
I have a stainless steel Kenneth Cole Reaction watch. Certainly not as nice as some of the ones you guys have, but it has sentimental value to me. It's "water resistant", although in practicer I have found that on very humid days there will be some condensation on the inside of the glass...- taylor

Maverick Audio DAC/Amp
Bought mine a couple weeks ago, very happy with it. I'm running AKG K340s, a beastly can that's 2x400 ohm, even higher impedance than the famous HD650. My serial number starts with 2009. Has anyone dimmed or replaced the LED? I like having an indication that my equipment is on, but the...- taylor

Ever experienced your love one getting caught in frenzy with a brand new interest you share?
It happens to me with TV shows and books. A couple years ago, not long after she had just finished 12 years of the American public educational system forcing her to read so many outdated and irrelevant novels that she had no more interest in reading (which is unfortunately the case for most...- taylor

eBay bidding survey
I filled it out as well. I am in a very similar boat to ericj. I don't rip people off. When I sell on ebay, I am always clear with what I am selling, and package things well. When I win an auction, I pay immediately. I deal with a lot of automotive lighting stuff... it's an...- taylor
