  I have Tinnitus from going to a VERY LOUD club here in NYC to check out Steve Lawler back in 2010. If you like loudness, I would seriously suggest you ease up on it or else you'll end up in my shoes. It sucks, trust me!

Thanks Tony! Those pads that you settled with your set, do they make your ears hot? That's the only problem that I currently have with the stock pads. It becomes too uncomfortable if I want to listen for a prolonged periods of time.

  Tinny and thin are words I hate to describe any setup with my audio devices! I remember having that problem with my HT setup a long time ago. Better speakers fixed that!...oh and a KILLER sub!! ;)

I'm not sure if the wired Vmoda m100 sound like the wireless ones but they sounded very boxy and had a narrow soundstage compared to the MDR1A that I auditioned at a B&H store. I heard a lot of headsets that day but the Sonys stood out as the best for my listening needs.

Ok, I have the JVC Riptidz (HAFX8) and LOVE them for all around use.  They are super light and I can listen to them for hours without having any fatigue.  How would you guys compare them to the HAFX40 and HAFX101??  I mainly listen to Deep House and Tech.
