KGSS or Stax Omega II, wich one comes first?
The KGSS gets pretty hot and I wouldn't advise stacking any components on it. I was in your same situation before and I got the O2s first and then the KGSS after. I used a SRM-313 to power my O2 and still enjoyed them. It wasn't until hearing them out of a KGSS that I felt I really had to...- ak622

immtbiker: that's a great touch to have the blue hawaii match the color of your bike! (an it being a nice blue finish too which works well with the name) As usual with Kerry's work, it looks and I'm sure sounds awesome! You've got a great collection of gear and I would need a daily dose of...- ak622

jinnh: my DI doesn't vibrate at all when it is on. That is odd that yours is vibrating, maybe shoot Edwin or Kingwa an email about that since it doesn't appear to be normal.- ak622

Pacha, there shouldn't be a need for a driver for the DI on W7.. I plugged mine into the USB and it recognized it as a Tenor SPDIF or something interface and I was up to running. i've been using it for a few days and have no issues at all.- ak622

Thanks for the reply Dynobot. I agree that I prefer non-upsampled from the DI as I'm using it mainly as a USB->SPDIF device. I am interested in hearing how it sounds, and like you said, I'll have to decide for myself which holds true in this hobby. I'll give it a try when I have some free time.- ak622
