LPS 1.2 powers the Qutest without any issues.
I have the JS-2 (two) and LPS 1.2, also SR4 incoming this month.
The LPS 1.2 is quieter, with more detail retrieval and nuance than JS-2 when...
If you like the Qutest with the JS-2, try it with the LPS 1.2.
It's a match made in heaven :L3000:
The SR-007 Mk2 uses copper for the headphone cable, so it's just a matter of plugging in the SRE-925 SPC extension cable for a simple AB test. The...
I'm running a BHSE and don't hear any degradation at all, just a nice uplift in tone from the silver-plated copper cable. I have experienced...
I've found adding the Stax SPC extension cable opens up the soundstage and adds sparkle to the treble. Remove the extension cable and the 007Mk2...
Just pick up the Stax spc extension cable for your 007 Mk1. It's an inexpensive upgrade and will give you a nice bump in SQ.
Tyll, nothing says you can't travel the US and review headphones. I think we all miss you in the headphone-land.
Doesn't Stax make a metal housing L700 for the German market?
Would be nice if they introduced that to all L700s as standard, considering the price.
I have the 007 Mk2 and currently using the 950s SPC extension cord.
The 950s cable will add refinement and move frequencies toward the upper...
Yes, mids are recessed and the emphasis is pushed to the bass. I'll also mention and this is just my opinion, while the bass is more impactful, it...
I auditioned the TH-909 for about 20 minutes yesterday with my Macbook Pro with Hugo 2 and HQPlayer / Roon. I really like the TH-900 and going in...
My thoughts exactly. I can hardly wait to listen to this at e earphones.
I agree with all of the above, with the exception of speed. I found the 009S to sound faster, cleaner with better control. The only downside as...
Just auditioned the 009S with the T8000 at Yodobashi Akihabara. I wasn't expecting much, but it's a huge step up from the 009. It's friggin...
You hit the nail on the head with this post. I've had my HD650s since 2004 and while they're not the first in resolution, they do everything right...
I have had both. The ex1000s are right up there with top tier iems, I sold my TG!334 and kept the ex1000s if that's any indication.
Stick with the ex1000s, the housing is made from magnesium. The ex800 housing is made from plastic and resonates, you'll be taking a few steps back.
I'd say give it a try, you can download the free trial software.
I'll definitely be getting the m scaler that matches the Qutest price wise.
These are new (there are a few more filters) and should satisfy until the Qutest m scaler is released.
If anyone has HQPlayer, try the new PCM closed-form-M filter.
It's utterly jaw dropping and takes the Qutest to the next level.
Bumping this awesome amp!
Sold to a kind gentleman.
Very balanced sounding power cable.
Up for sale is a rare Single Power PPX3-6SN7 headphone amplifier. It was purchased new by me from Single Power in 2004, and in very good...
