    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

As mentioned by earfonia, the MSR7 LTD version looks gorgeous. First impression is that it has lighter bass than M50x. Very good treble extension. Forward vocal with good clarity. More spacious feel as well.

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-CKR9 & ATH-CKR10

It is interesting to know that the change is significant after long burn in but how much did you have burnt in on both models? I came across a review that the owner spent 170 hours on the CKR10 and he didn't notice much difference. The mid-range is what some owners kinda dislike because they...

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-CKR9 & ATH-CKR10

Tried out both the CKR9 and 10 and I will say though I prefer CKR9 a little bit more than 10, IM03 is still better than both in treble, sound stage and tonality. The cable is also very microphonic (more so than IM series original cables). They should have made both models with removable cables...

Where to buy Audio technica ESW10?

Quote:   That links to ES10 and not ESW10JPN. These are two different earphones and ESW10JPN was already discontinued. You may wanna try your luck on auction sites but chances are slim. The ESW10 is going for pretty high price on Japanese online auctions.

Dying to get one but the only set available in Singapore has a ridiculous price (by Jaben). Hoping to get it through Tenso.

    1964 Ears

Quote:   I don't think there's a need for 1964 Ears to lower their prices to please bargain hunters. It took a massive 40% for the 4A to beat the 1964-Q in price. I see nothing to complain about well.   So do you buy a CIEM base on its sound signature and your preference or just the...

iBasso DX100:24 bit for bit, PG 1> Reviews & Impressions, Downloads, VIDEO, NEW Firmware 1.4.2.

Read on AV Watch there is a upcoming firmware update for the Japanese HDP-R10 to remove Google Play app, for sake of "maintaining high sound quality and stability". Not sure if this will be applied to DX100 but all R10 units from 30th of Nov will be with this firmware version.

Trade for the Perfect player in the world ---Hisound’s Studio 3rd Anniversary edition

Quote:   Same as what lee730 said, the DX100 is still the better player but the gap between SV3 and DX100's SQ is not significant, especially when it comes to sound stage. If you look past the extra features on DX100 and the hiss on SV3, the SV3 is certainly a very good player. The...

Trade for the Perfect player in the world ---Hisound’s Studio 3rd Anniversary edition

Quote:   For me, yes, I can hear the hiss with my 1964-Q + Twag. I don't need to specifically listen for it, during quiet passages it is audible enough not to be ignored. Jack claimed that the hiss will lessen or even go away with more hours of burning in, I am now towards the 40-hour...

I Basso HDP R 10 is IBasso DX 100 Japan Version impressions thread
