I say get the LCD2 Classic. I sold mine then got the Clear and if there is one thing I miss from it it's the sub bass extension and impact which you are looking far. I've also owned all the headphones you have and I think the Classic is the most different of the bunch, it is a Planar.

Put my order in for the Professionals yesterday. Went with them over the silver Clear after reading some of the last few comments about cleaning the pads and discolorations. Figure in the long run an extra pair of pads will be more useful to me than the XLR cable. Can't wait.

Has anyone's Magni 3 ever started smoking? My buddies Magni 3 started smoking twice. Smoke rose out of it and there was burning smell. Seems to work fine though.

Awesome. He is one of Schiits biggest critics and gave this a great review. Seems like S/PDIF is the way way to go. Also, goes to show how being genuinely critical of products can lead to improvements for us as consumers because no doubt Schiit took to heart some of his criticisms.
