The smaller Feliks amps are great for high impedance dynamic headphones like the HD600 series. There is also an older Feliks model, the Espressivo mkII that is very good. It is a bit more neutral than the Echo mkII, which is more warm/tubey sounding.

I very much like the smaller size for my desktop setup. It sounds great for such a small unit, it doesn't hold back. With some headphones it's less of a headphone amp and more of a headphone transformer. I still can't quite believe what it does to the HD560S..

Eric had a special sale on this particular unit on Ebay during the late summer. I just couldn't resist it any longer. It is a stock Mini without any upgrades and it sounds great. Shows that you get a lot of value even with the basic configuration. I think it is probably the best desktop class...
