Soooo... I finally found my old VE stash hidden away in the garage. 😅 Maaaaan! The Monk Go really shines with the old RA and Odyssey combo. Soundstage improves so much, and really make it sing.

I know! Sounds like an oxymoron, but I just didn't like that I had to take em out and set them over the ears over and over again. With headphones, they just sit on your neck the whole time. Was just way more efficient.

By the way guys. Lee is releasing the VE Monk Go which is the next generation of Monk (obviously). Its seems to be more akin in signature to the V2 Monk that made all the hype back in the day. But anyway come give the thread some love like the good ol' days...

Candy Monk probably got more attention from me than any other, but the V2 Monk was where it's at IMO.

My unit is almost 3 years old and has hundreds, if not thousands, of hours on it, but they're still in good shape.

I know, right!? For a IEM with 3 BAs I expected them to be a treble cannon that will shrill my bones, but instead I got a wonderfully clear but controlled treble response with no sibilance or any peaky highs at all.
