I have successfully updated to 1.6. There seems to be a MQA decode button on/off within the audio settings tab now. Not sure how much of a difference it makes with regular files yet but thought i would point it out.

I also own a N8ii I pair with my Jewel, which I can not recommend enough. I agree it is certainly a "walkable" DAP, but I would not recommend it for strictly On the go use or only as a "walkable" sources. It is very thick, and depending on the settings used can become quite hot during playback...
