I agree with Erick. I have been following @Ichos reviews since he reviewed Vio gear. He is just enthusiastic about the gear he tries. Also, keep in mind that he is based in Greece. I think he has easy access to European gear like Violectric and Flux, but I could be wrong though.

In my case, I prefer 0 dB for the HD800s and -6 dB for the HE1000se.

I had the v281LE and v222 with the HD800s. With the v281LE, you get a wider and more relaxed sound, with more 'richness', but it won't be as 'forward' as the v222.

I agree! It just have been a while since I used a DS I agree! Best pairing with the v222 I have used. I have paired it with BF2 OG, 2541, Wandla, yggy+GS2, and Berkeley DAC2. My favorite was the yggy. I currently own the DAC2 it pairs well but not as fun as the yggy.

I believe it was only for a couple of days. Multiple brands, including Xduoo, Topping, Moondrop, and SMSL, were on sale until last Sunday.

It seems the Qutest pairs well with the v222. I'm interested in trying the D90III or A26.
