I believe there was a thread somewhere talking about the M-Audio Q40. Theyre selling for about 100 bucks on ebay.

If it seems UNREASONABLY cheap, then, yes, probably.

Working on a budget here... Best: JVC HARX700s. I actually HAVE a soundstage now. XD Worst: Counterfeit Shure E2Cs. They isolate well, but the SQ isn't quite as good as my JVCs or my PortaPros.

I passed by an Apple Store today, and couldn't resist trying them out. The bass is booming, and, while it's there, I personally think its a bit sloppy. The 370 dollar price tag is unjustifiable.
