I am admittedly a little late to the party here, but this amp is amazing. It makes my Grados sing.

I tried the bass boost with the UM3s, but I thought it was too much bass. No boost was perfect to my ears.

I picked up s1rrah's Arrow last night. This thing is awesome. I have never heard my IEM's sound so good. The separation and tight sound is amazing. I need to try it with my full-size cans over the weekend.

Now that I have mastered the tagging, I am beginning to listen to the darn thing. It sounds very, very good. This little jewel has promise! The EQ is really versatile. If you can't find a sound that is better than "normal", you haven't really tried yet.  

FYI... the discnumber field was blank in my tags. Filling in this field fixed the problem, at least on one album. I am going to fix the rest and see.

For people who have used this player with an amp, what volume setting works best on the player?

I ordered one of these from Amazon today with overnight shipping. I am looking for an upgrade over the SQ of my 2G Touch. Gapless FLAC support and the famous Cowon EQ pushed me to spend the extra $100 over the s:flo2.  

I know the player doesn't support gapless. However, I've read that FLAC is gapless anyway. Can someone verify for me if FLAC files play seamlessly from track to track? Examples are tracks 1 & 2 on Beatles' White Album or most tracks on Pink Floyd's DSotM.   S1rrah was going to check this for...
