  Finished mine today, walnut burl finish by Martin (stained by myself). was wondering how you guys get such a shiny finish?  it sounds amazing. 

hopefully that will never happen, but if it does i thought a little heat and moisture will pop it right out.

turbulent labs didn't send me any double sided tape, what do u guys use to connect the driver to the air chambers.  

Martin is still making cups, i just ordered a pair from him.

im confused, does this mean i can just build my own Grado with a pair of turbulent drivers, a pair of cups, cable and a headband? whats stopping me from say making my own RS1s for like half the price? (by make i mean more like imitate i suppose)

I think the problem with carl is that he doesnt know what he is looking for after the upgrade, you wont find the pin in the haystack if you don't know there is a pin there in the first place.

im pretty sure its the same way as any other amp/dac combo, run it though the headphone out to use its amp, or run it though the rca in the back to bypass it.
